Q: What exactly is Burnt Base?

A: Glad you asked! Burnt Base, at its core, is a site geared towards helping Clashers defend enemy attacks and learn the various army compositions and attack strategies so they can increase their chances of getting 3-star attacks. We are all Clashers here at Burnt Base and visual learners and we know the time it takes to find online examples and tutorials, so we have worked to gather all of these in one place and let you, the Clasher, search through and find the one that suits your attack style. https://www.burntbase.com/

Q: I can't find all the defenses or townhall in my screenshot. What now?

A: Sometimes your defense is temporarily blocked by a hero that moved as you took the screenshot. Other times it just hasn't been included in the screenshot, for example that pesky 12 o'clock Townhall. If a defense has been built and you don't correctly identify its placement, your results will be inaccurate. So make sure to get as much of the defenses in the screenshot as possible!

Q: What does 100% Match mean on search results?

A: This percentage is our confidence of a similar base. 100% means that it is the exact same base as the image you searched. 90% Match means that the base is very similar but there may be some defenses that have been moved or swapped.

Q: I see I have to join. Can’t I just use your site without giving you my information?

A: No, signing up is a requirement. In order to search Burnt Base, an account is needed.

Q: If I give you my information, what do you do with it? Can I expect to be spammed?

A: Not even once. We don’t like spam as much as the next person, so we will NEVER EVER allow 3rd party businesses access to your email address. We want to be a Clash resource for you, not a pain in the ass.

Q: Okay, I signed up. Now I see the video buttons on search results but I have to pay to see results?

A: Yes and No. Our services can be used for FREE. You have the ability to search as many times as you want and see the matching results. But, in order to watch the 3 star attack videos on that base, there is a cool down period of 12 hours before the videos for that search will become available. In order to view the matching videos immediately, a subscription is required. This subscription will allow a certain number of searches per month. These searches can be used on the website as well as a Discord Bot and a Line bot.

Q: What are subscriptions?

A: Subscriptions are the premium use for our service. They allow for immediate video results if there is a match. You will not have to wait for 12 hours before watching the videos. We have subscriptions for individual users as well as plans for shared usage. For example a Clan leader can purchase a subscription so his members can all use the bot and get immediate video results.

Q: If I have a subscription, how long are the videos available?

A: If you log in, and go to your dashboard, select “past searches”. From here you can review all your current and past searches and the results. Each set of results matching past layouts are available for unlimited views as long as they are in your search history. The search history list can only show 50 bases. So your search history will show your most recent 50 searches. If you use our service with Discord or Line, the history will never disappear.

Q: This seems cool! How often do you guys scan Youtube?

A: Our catalog of 3 star attacks gets updated every 12 hours. New videos may take up to 24 hours before they are added into the system depending on when they get added. We add more and more channels as they are discovered. If you know of a channel that is not in our database just let us know and we may be able to include it.

Agreement Between User and the Site

Welcome to https://www.burntbase.com. The https://www.burntbase.com website (the “Site”) is comprised of various web pages operated by BurntBase.com LLC (“Burnt Base”). The site is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein (the “Terms”). Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to all such Terms. Please read these terms carefully and keep a copy for your reference.
The Site is an education/resource for the Clash of Clans community to better assist them in making better attacks as well as help identify if their own war bases are exposed on the internet. Burnt Base is committed to providing resources that help players stay on top of the latest army compositions and learn proven strategies to better increase their chances at making 100 percent, 3-star attacks. Our team of engineers work to aggregate the latest video resources that help detail and show these methods and deliver them to our users in one easy format.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is subject to Burnt Base’s Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the Site and informs users of our data collection practices.

Electronic Communications

Visiting the Site or sending emails to our representatives constitutes electronic communications. This includes any conversations conducted in our Discord Server. You consent to receive electronic communications and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically, via email, on the Site, and in our Discord Server satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Your Account

If you use the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity. You acknowledge that Burnt Base is not responsible for third party access to your account that results from theft or misappropriation of your account. Burnt Base and its associates reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, terminate accounts or remove or edit content at our sole discretion.

Children Under Thirteen

Burnt Base does knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of thirteen. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the permission of a parent or guardian.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with our service, you may request a refund of any unused Packages purchased from us. We are Clashers, just like you, and understand the frustration of “people missing attack”, or “time fails”, and the worst: “99 percent 1-star attacks.” So, to that end, if for any reason you feel that we have failed,please let us know and will work hard to make it right or refund you back any credits used in the following situations:

Credits used to view results that ended up displaying attacks that did not show 3-star strategies and army compositions.

Credits used to view results that failed to load or the content is no longer available.

Packages that are unused after a period of 90 days.

All refund requests can be submitted to support@burntbase.com or can be requested in Our Discord channel. Again, we are Clashers and love the game. Our goal is to make you a better player. If we fail in that endeavor, we feel strongly that we owe it to you make things right.

The Site may contain links to other websites (“Linked Sites”). The Linked Sites are not under the control of Burnt Base and Burnt Base is not responsible for the contents of any Linked Sites, including without limitation any link contained in a Linked Site, or any changes or updates to a Linked Site. Burnt Base is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Burnt Base of the Linked Site or any association with its operators.

Certain services made available on the Site are delivered by third party sites and organizations. By using any product, service or functionality originating from the Burnt Base domain, you hereby acknowledge and consent that Burnt Base may share such information and data with any third party with who, Burnt Base has a contractual relationship to provide the requested product, service or functionality on behalf of Burnt Base users and customers.

No Unlawful or Prohibited Use/Intellectual Property

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site strictly in accordance with these terms of use. As a condition of your use of the Site, you warrant to Burnt Base that you will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided through the Site.

All content included as part of the Service, such as texts, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the Site, is the property of Burnt Base, or its suppliers and protected by copyright and other laws that protect intellectual property and proprietary rights. You agree to observe and abide by all copyright and other proprietary notices, legends or other restrictions contained in any such content and will not make any changes hereto.

You will not modify, publish, transmit, reverse engineer, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the Site. Burnt Base content is not fro resale. Your use of the Site does not entitle you to make any unauthorized use of any protected content, and in particular you will not delete or alter any proprietary rights or attribution notices in any content. You will use protected content solely for your personal use, and will make no other use of the content without the express written permission of Burnt Base and the copyright owner You agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights in any protected content. International Users

The Service is controlled, operated and administered by Burnt Base from with in the United States of America. If you access the Service from a location outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree that you will not use the Burnt Base content in any manner prohibited by any applicable laws, restrictions or regulations.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Burnt Base, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) relating to or arising out of your use of or inability to use the Site or services, any user postings made by you, your violation of any terms of this Agreement or your violation of any rights of a third party, or your violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations. Burnt Base reserves the right, at its own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with Burnt Base in asserting any available defenses.

Arbitration

In the event the parties are not able to resolve any dispute between them arising out of or concerning these Terms and Conditions, or any provision hereof, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise at law or in equity for damages or any other relief, then such dispute shall be resolved only by final and binding arbitration pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act, conducted by a single neutral arbitrator and administered by the American Arbitration Association, or a similar arbitration service selected by the parties, in a location mutually agreed upon by the parties. The arbitrator’s award shall be final, and judgment may be entered upon it in any court having jurisdiction. In the event that any legal or equitable action, proceeding or arbitration arises out of or concerns these Terms and Conditions, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. The parties agree to arbitrate all disputes and claims in regards to these Terms and Conditions or any disputes arising as a result of these Terms and Conditions, whether directly or indirectly, including tort claims that are a result of the Terms and Conditions. The parties agree that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision. The entire dispute, including the scope and enforceability of this arbitration provision shall be determined by the Arbitrator. This arbitration provision shall survive the termination of these Terms and Conditions.

Termination/Access Restriction

Burnt Base reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Virginia in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site. Use of the Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms, including, without limitation, this section.

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Burnt Base as a result of this agreement or use of the Site. Burnt Base’s performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Burnt Base’s right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Site or information provided to or gathered by Burnt Base with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invlaid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most likely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.

Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the User and Burnt Base with respect to the Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the User and Burnt Base with respect to the site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed for, It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English.

Change to Terms

Burnt Base reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms in which the Site is offered. The most current version of these Terms will supersede all previous versions.
